Mutual admiration and a shared love of great beer stirred Heart of Darkness, Evil Twin and Two Roads to link up in Saigon to collab on a beer inspired by a drink ingrained in Vietnamese culture. Inspired by the widely celebrated Ca Phe Sua Da – iced milk coffee – ‘Evil takes Two Roads into Darkness’ Vietnamese Stout has coffee on the nose with subtle milk chocolate. Brewed with locally sourced, roasted whole Vietnamese coffee beans, this bad boy is rich, silky smooth with flavors of milk chocolate and maple syrup – and a strong coffee finish. Just like the Ca Phe Sua Da, our collab brew is highly conducive to a sense of relaxation and camaraderie and is the perfect antidote to the inescapable Vietnamese heat.

Fra fat på Heart of Darkness sammen med Kitty og muntre reisevenner mars-19: brunsvart med fint skum som varer. Mørk kaffe, dessertchokolader, vanilje, kakao, bjørnebær og blåbær. Lav bitterhed. Lekker drikke fra første til siste dråpe. So smooth.

Tap at the HCMC brewpub. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a thin off white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is roasted malt, lactose, chocolate and coffee. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a smooth rich sweet roasty, light oily, creamy, sweet chocolate, light liquorice, jammy fruit, light boozy alcohol palate. Medium to full bodied with flat carbonation. Nicely balanced. Smooth rich and with lots of flavour. The alcohol is well in the background too. Awesome!
