Tap at the Freehouse, Singapore. Poured a hazy dark amber colour with a frothy off white head. The aroma is dry malt, some light red berry fruits, mineral dry hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a crisp, dry malt, dank yeasty, light tart fruit, dry metallic hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Not great I have to say. Any enjoyment was all up front and the finish was really very weak. You want a beer to leave a taste in your mouth that reminds you of how good (or otherwise) it was, but this beer left nothing behind, just like my ex-girlfriend!

From the tap at Beer & Barrel, Vancouver, Canada. Pours intense amber with fading white foam, irregular. Aroma is licorice, herbaceous, resinous, malty. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste has a decent base of sweetness, and marked bitterness. Finish is nice and relatively long with maltiness and bitterness.
