Bottle from Gulating. Unclear golden body with a small, fast disappearing white head. Aroma is very nice, distinct funky with wood, grape, vinous and acidic lemon. Flavor is tart and sour, fruity, funky, wood and lemon. Medium body and mostly funky, acidic aftertaste. A very refreshing wild ale that have some good qualities, but it’s also rather raw and far more acidic than most Belgium Geuze. If your not just having a sample for rating but actually drinking this bottle it’s pretty heavy on the acidic part. Interesting and real, but out of balance.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour, small white head. Aroma is tart wooden and some mild lactic and acidic tones with herbs. Flavour is floral, some lactic, tart wooden and mild herbal notes. Mild sour milky and rhubarby tones in the finish.

On tap at MBCC Blue Session. Pours a hazy gold with medium white head. The aroma is strong citrus, wheat, earth. Thin body, lemon candy, lacto, dough, puckering sour, good.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma is a bit farty, with wild yeast, tartness, and more earthy farty notes. Flavour is farty and acidic, with plenty of funk, fart, wild yeast, and flatulence. Not too pleasant or clean. Meh.
