After brewing our Yorkshire Parkin Imperial Stout with our friends at Tartarus, we transferred some over to Plantation Rum barrels. To describe this beer in one word, would be Decadent. It's incredibly thick and pours like a treacle. The ginger and spice flavour is still prominent but with an impressively bold backbone of Rum oozing through to give great balance.

Tap@Taphouse, Copenhagen (28/02/2024) - Roasted and sweet malty aroma and taste with lots of sticky sweet caramel and toffee, singed brown sugar, dried fruit shred, lovely spices in play, medium plus body and yeah that rum really comes into the warming lingering malty finish.
