Can from a Phuket convenience store. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a short-lived fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is cardboard malt, light woody hop. The flavour is light to moderate bitter with a watery crisp, malt, dry hop bitter palate. Light to medium bodied with average carbonation. Nothing going on at all. Very bland.

Happoshu. 35 cl can from a convenience store in Seoul. Golden color, bubbly white head, persstent, not lacing. Aroma of grains and flowers, starch, rust and alcohol with some fruity-appleish tones. Flat taste, metallic, watery. Thin body, carbonated. Alcoholic dry finish. Little floral, otherwise chemical. For less than 25% malt can’t expect much.
