Our Boracay Blonde ale is a local version of the popular Kolsch beers of Cologne, Germany: golden in hue, lightly malty, slightly bitter, but above all extraordinarily balanced. Our Filipino-inspired spin is subtle and delicate, ethereal in body and appearance, with a soft mouthfeel and unobtrusive hoppiness. We cold ferment this beer for a crisp, clean flavor, but don't be fooled - this is not your average mass-produced, flavorless lager. Boracay Blonde ale is 100% malt, made with just the right amount of caramel and biscuity Vienna malts and citrusy American hops to strike the perfect balance between intense flavor and easy going refreshment.

Best enjoyed with salad, salmon, chicken, Monterey Jack cheese, custard cake.

3/12/2019. Bottle from BEEReaucracy, Davao City. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a large foamy white head. Aroma of citrus, caramel, hops, herbs, touch of yeast and sweet biscuit. Medium plus sweetness, very light bitterness. Light body, slight watery texture, fizzy carbonation. Not unpleasant, sweet and slightly earthy to finish, but much too fizzy.

At a tasting, thanks, small bubbly head, cloudy palish orange color, lots of phenols, smole, hint of petrol, flavor of plastic smoke metal honey. Not good.

Bottle from the Spektral Lounge, Makati. Poured a hazy straw colour with a fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is grainy malt, gluey, toffee, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, caramel malt, smooth dough, biscuit, dry woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Served cool and super refreshing. A good session ale.

A reddish copper kolsch with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, OK. In mouth, sweet tart malt, light cork, light infection, bad. On tap at Draft Punk, Cebu.
