Though it’s based on an English Pale Ale, we tried to create a summer beer that would combine an intense aroma and high drinkability, while keeping a full-body, ideal for warm summer evenings.
We use Galaxy, a hop charged by the Australian sun, that, together with Citra, give the beer its intense aroma of tropical fruit. For bitterness we used the Apollo hop.

From tap. Light unclear golden orange color with off white head. Heavy hoppy aroma, floral, grassy, citrusy fruity, grapefruit, tropical fruits, light pine, light caramel malty. Sweet and bitter taste like aroma. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

(Bottle, 0.75 l, at laiti’s, 20150613, thanks) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was small and white. Aroma had fruitiness and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, grass, malts and biterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A nice hoppy pale ale.

Aroma has tropical fruits, some resiny notes and mild floury tones. Flavour has grapefruit, fruit juice, some minerals and some slightly sticky malty tones. Nice and refreshing, perhaps a bit too dry at the finish though.

Taste is hoppy, fruity and crisp with some mango, tropical notes, citrus, grass and grapefruit. Finish is smooth, hoppy and fruity with some juicy tropical notes, grapefruit and citrus. Pretty tasty.

Draft at Zlu Casy. A hazy golden beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of spicy hops, citrus fruits, petroleum, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of spicy hops, malt, petroleum, and virus fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Getrunken 2015 in einer Kellerbar in Prag vom Fass. Ein wahrlicher Reigen an Aromen überschlägt sich in diesem Bier: Diverse Gräser und dazu auch allerlei Zitrusfüchte wie Limette, Zitrone und Orange, dazu eine feine Würze. Da hat man den Aromahopfen mal richtig eingesetzt und nicht überdosiert. Dadurch wird das Bier schön herb, aber nicht zu bitter.

Pale amber color. The nose I could die for and just sniff all day. OMFG it is soooo good. So hugely hoppy with tons of passionfruit, pineapples and other tropical fruit on top of modest malt character. Very light body with little malt backbone, subtle but aggressively bitter finish. Could use a bit more body, but otherwise a superb American pale ale.
