From bottle at Winterbierfestival Gouda 2016. Slightly hazy, very dark brown. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, brown sugar and licorice. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy taste of caramel, brown sugar and licorice, followed by a short, slightly bitter, spicy finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, flat. Nice!

Bottle sampled at Winterbierfestival Gouda. Almost black with small beige head. Toffee, quite herbal licorice, sweet olive oil like notes (really), strange vegetal stuff, coconut, vanilla. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Over medium bodied. Srange stuff, but quite good in small doses.

Bottle (from Koht). Pours dark brown-black with beige head. The head doesnβt stay. Aroma is sweet, malt, licorice, fruits. Flavor is sweet and bitter, caramel, licorice, malt.Finish is dry bitter with more licorice and some alcohol. Overall: good, feels somewhat like liquid licorice. Gets better as it warms up.
