Bottled (from Uba Ja Humal, Tallinn). Black colour, small brown head. Aroma is oxidized, some caramel and quite madeira like notes. Flavour i sweet malts, some spices, alcohol, toffee and mild madeiralike notes.

Bottle. Deep dark brown color. Malt, roast, cocos and licorice in the aroma. Malty sweet roasty caramelly flavor with licorice and cocos. Sticky but quite Drinkable.

Bottle 330ml (UJH). Dark brown colour, small brownish head. Ryebread and licorice in the nose. Medium-bodied. Dark bread, English licorice, some alcohol and hops. Aged nicely.

Zwart bier zonder schuim. Smaak is krachtig, licht bitter en warm met sporen van chocolade, karamel, drop en heel lichte rooksmaak. Smaak blijft lang hangen.
Porter-dark ale hybrid, with plenty of licorice. Fairly sweet, licorice allsorts identifiable, well balanced with even some bitterness.

Bottle from Bierkonig. Murky brown with a thin head. Aroma of licorice and malt. Flavour is sweet malt, dried fruit, a little licorice and yeast in the finish.

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is caramel, toffee, raisin, dates, taste is similar, rich, dry, liquorice.
