500ml bottle into pint. From ALDI, Riverwood. Crystal clear bronze coloured beer with a large foamy head and fine medium carbonation. Laces well. Citric nose with some background caramel malt. Easy-drinking ale with a short sharply bitter finish. Herbal and earthy with hints of bitter lemon and nettles. Really nice IPA. Very refreshing and very English.

Bottle, Aldi. Clear amber with a fat coat of off white head. Aroma of bread crust, peach, grapefruit, some spices. Some bread and peach but not much sweetness as firm spicy and citrus bitterness takes over pretty much straight away. A tad fizzy but a solid enough bitter.

Bottle at home. A very English IPA with lots of bitter hops and a high level of drinkability.

Cask at the Hope Tap (JDW), Glowing copper in hue with a thin white head and a moderate fizz. Caramel and orange, a little chilli and some herbal bitterness in the finish. Good balance. Decent bitter, better then Black Sheep's normal brews.

Cask up the White Lady. Pours clear golden with a thin white head. Aromas of light malt and faint spice. Taste is watery and insubstantial. Forgettable, if not actually bad.
