Double Mashed Imperial Stout w/ Roasted Peanut, Cocoa Nibs, & Vietnamese Cinnamon. For this massive Imperial Stout, we combined the recipes from our coveted ‘Beer Geek Vanilla Shake’ and an MKSD favorite ‘Traeblod’ to create something very special. Brewed with solely the first-runnings from each recipe, and then boiled for over 12 hours, we developed an incredibly complex caramelization and rich character; this is truly a special treat. Aged in choice Weller Wheated Bourbon barrels for over a year, we selected LifeBlod RESERVE for its exceptional characters and firm backbone. Displaying a bold mid-palate of spicy spirit warmth, we delicately layered in hand-roasted peanuts, single-varietal cocoa nibs from Ghana, and Vietnamese cinnamon sticks, creating an unprecedented level of depth we have yet to achieve.
