Deep, dark brown coloured body with a rich brown head that's about two to three centimetres tall and fades slowly, while leaving a nice lace on the sides. Aroma of rich smoked malts with some bacon, meats, mushrooms and super rich browned sugars with a lot of roasted malts, oatmeal and graininess here, very strong compared to others and very nice for a smoked beer. Medium-bodied; Strong and pungent smoked flavours dominate up front with a light sweetness, a touch of malts and oats with some cream and lactose here as well, but the smoked and rich earthy notes dominates nicely. Aftertaste shows the smoked grain flavour front and centre with a lot of richness from the malts and oats with some lighter sugars still noticeable, a dash of lactose and creamy flavours for complexity, but the smoked grain remains the most complex, and a true craft beer that has been the best beer I've had thus far in Peru - a welcome addition for the chicken I'm eating as well, great to sample! I sampled this 33 cL can (labeled as 'Primo's Smoked Porter'), purchased Primo's Chicken Bar (Made by/for them) in San Isidro, Lima, Peru on 02-August-2022 with my wife and three kids while eating dinner here.
