Very hazy golden, peach and light copper coloured body with a thin, perfectly white head that fades and leaves only an island of white on top of the hazy glow. Aroma of hay, grass, light floral hops with a dash of malt noticeable and barely a note of citrus fruits and cleanser as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Deep, very crisp and dry floral and grassy hops show first in the flavour with a peppery and herbal touch, but the malts show through at the end and leaves a slight bready quality towards the finish, with a cleanser/lemon ending. Aftertaste shows the grassy, hay-like notes more akin to a saison than an IPA, but some hops, alpha acid bitterness and lemon notes do show at the end, but there is enough robustness and complexity to be considered very nice! Overall, a crisp, dry and very flavourful (especially for the alcohol here) IPA that has a lot of range, not much sweetness and a proper balance. Great to try super fresh and a worthy option for a lighter, lower abv IPA! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Costco in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 09-July-2021 for US$2,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 24-July-2021.
