Fairly clear, but ever so slightly cloudy pink and subdued ruby coloured body with a lighter pink head that stays afloat nicely and is fairly soapy. Aroma of slightly tart and soft grapes, blackcurrants, apples and yes, a bit of pomegranate, with more of the wheat and very light malts coming through in the nose. Light to Medium-bodied; Crisp and very dry cranberry and raspberry flavours show at first with some of the malts for support and balance with a hint of sweetness from said fruit and a light finish of tartness that doesn't really border on sour, but is crisp and clean. Aftertaste shows the very fruity notes with a good balance of malt, sugars and fruits here that ends dry and very crisp with some lemons here as well, but the sweetness is almost an afterthought to the dry and slightly tart notes, but this goes down easily and seems at first like a fruited wheat. Overall, a pretty nice, very elegant and dry, fruity beer with some good aspects from the pomegranate and tart fruits, but the wheat and crisp grains seem more of an influence here. Still, great to try from a new brewery that i've never had before, even when I was previously in Pittsburgh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, given to me after a hockey game in Arlington (Ballston), Virginia on 05-January-2022 - Thanks again JP!
