This barrel aged sour brown ale was fermented for 2 years in our American oak barrels. Following the Gothic Funk Flanders Red ale, and the Gilly Wagon golden sour ale, this beer shares the same wild fermentation critters, but begins with a brown ale as the base. Tart, rich, and pleasantly smooth.

Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 5
Draught @ the taproom (Aug 2024). Dark brown with red highlights, very small frothy beige head, woodsy tart aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter woodsy caramel taste, faint tartness, thin body, long finish. Not terribly remarkable.
