Sampled from the tap at the West Village. Pours near black with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has earthy chocolate and dark grains with some bread and a hint of roast supporting. Flavor has earthy dark grains and roasted malts with some sweet chocolate notes supporting.

Draught @ Dive 96, Manhattan. Opaque dark brown with a small spongy tan head, faint roasted malt aroma, medium carbonation, medium bitter roasted malt-caramel taste, smooth thin body, long roasted malt finish. Solid porter.
