Can. Clear amber with a huge off white head. Aroma of strong bread, oranges, grapefruit, flowers, spices. Maybe some peach - lots going on. Enough crusty bread to support but fairly dry. Spicy with some citrus and highish bitterness (although I wouldn't have guessed 100 IBU). Good stuff.

Tap at the Ballarat Beer Festival 2018. Poured a hazy orange amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, orange citrus. The flavour is moderate to strong bitter light sweet with a dry malt, yeasty, light dry spicy palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

330ml bottle. Pours red brown. Caramel, pepper, raspberry, biscuit, lingering spice. Full body. Decent.

From a 500ml bottle on 28/12./2014. Pours a cloudy amber with a biggish head which disappears quite quickly. Has a very pleasant nose featuring lots of fruity hops. In the mouth, there’s a good dash of caramel malt, some citrus and stone fruit (orange and peach), and a big rye influenced hop bitterness, which has more than a touch of saltiness to it. Has a medium body and is perhaps a touch over carbed. All up, this is a quite solid rye IPA. I’d like a bit more countering sweetness and a touch less carbonation, but these are relatively minor quibbles.

Pours copper with a large head.Nose shows soft floral hops, resinous notes, spicy and bready rye along with a little tropical fruit.Aggressively hoppy flavours focussing on pine and a sharp, aggressive and almost metallic bitterness. Some spicy rye but very little malt sweetness to balance things out.Carbonation is pretty crazily high.

This one’s a little like a siren, luring you in with a sweet, easy aroma of honey, resin, pine needles and nice, dry rye hops. Then, before you know it, you’ve been smashed on the rocks of a hop and rye beast, but what a way to die. There’s a good deal of roasted malt in the finish as well.
