Fairly hazy deep golden and peach coloured body with a nice thinnish, one to two centimetre tall off-white head that's pretty soapy, but stays afloat for a while. Aroma of deep, resinous, piney and grassy hops with a bunch of malts and somehow even more sugars - very deep in the nose. Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich grassy and resinous hops dominate here with a lot of bitterness and a pungent floral quality with a good layer of malts and even more sugars that hit especially hard at the end with some caster sugar and syrup noticeable. Aftertaste shows the hops strong and pungent throughout with a lot of citrus notes and pine coming through, all ending in a deep bitterness and sweet bite from the residual sugars. Overall, a nice and deep real Imperial IPA that has a ton of flavours from hops with the resin, pine and floral notes the strongest, but a good malt backbone and a softer sweetness at the tail end make this robust throughout. I sampled this twelve ounce can, given to me after a hockey game by my teammate, and sampled on the roof of my hockey rink after a game on 02-June-2021, thanks Nick!
