Time to fire up those “Twitter Fingers” and run to the comment section. We are bringing you all a brand new DIPA packed with Galaxy and Vic Secret. No hiding behind a screen name on this one, the Galaxy and Vic Secret bring out a strong aroma of peach, pineapple, and a touch of herbs. On the taste you will find a big presence of sweet tropical flavors from the hop combination, and a touch of herbs that is welcoming. This beer is smooth, with a slight bitterness, that helps create balance to round everything out.

Super pale golden coloured boy with a very hazy and opaque (90 per cent) raw honey glow, with a very thick, five to six centimetre tall, beautiful light tan and off-white microfoamed head that stays afloat nicely and leaves a soft lace on the sides. Aroma of fresh-cut grass, light melons, some citrus fruits, a good deal of herbal notes with a candy-like scent towards the end. Medium-bodied; Rich fresh hop flavours dominate with a punch of dry herbal and sweetness notes, with some slight medicinal and astringent flavours that give off some rich bitterness, but balanced out by a good dose of sugars from the fruits. Aftertaste is bitter - mainly from the alpha acids of the hops, but also from the dryness in the grain bill and also some grapefruit as well as a slight medicinal astringency at the end, in a good way. Overall, a nice, super unfiltered IPA that perhaps could be classified as New England (almost a 'real DIPA), but with your eyes closed, this is much closer to a standard West Coast IPA than anything else - nothing imperial about this. Great to sample locally and good to have fairly fresh since I can't find this in Virginia, but the price was much more expensive than I wanted to pay for this (wasn't posted). I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Ye Old Spirit Shop in Frederick, Maryland on 29-November-2020 for US$7,19 while cutting down our family Christmas tree for the year, canned at the source on 11/20 (from can), sampled at my house here in Washington on 27-January-2021.
