Fairly hazy deep copper and bronze coloured body with a thick, three to four centimetre tall tan head that's microfoamed and stays atop the copper glowing opaque (ninety per cent) body nicely. Aroma of grass, flowers, citrus fruits, light pine and hay with a dash of both bread and caster sugar at the finish. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and hay-like bite at first with some nice bitterness from the alpha acids, but then only a touch of malt and a very small dose of citrus fruits show through. Aftertaste shows a very dry and slightly astringent, peppery and fresh-cut grass bite with a light touch of both hops and citrus fruits, but almost no sweetness noticeable at all here. Overall, a decent light, dry and grassy IPA that can't figure out if it's a New England (look), Brut (dry) or plain East Coast (blandish and not-bitter) IPA, but any way, it's not worth searching for, however if you already have this - you can see which category you feel it feels closest in...I think a brut IPA (just close your eyes). I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville, New Jersey on 21-December-2020 for US$3,00 sampled at my house here in Washington on 16-January-2021.
