Ridiculously hazy golden and raw honey coloured body with a thick, two to three centimetre tall that fades a bit slowly, all on top of the ninety per cent opaque glowing body. Aroma of deep yeast, dough, bread, alcohol, oranges and tangerines with a dry scent and a slight astrigent bit in the nose as well. Medium to Full-bodied; Rich, deep malty and pungent resinous and grapefruity properties that show a lot of bitterness and alpha acids with a crisp, dry and herbal quality towards the end with a light fruit-based sweetness at the finish. Aftertaste is rich, dry, slightly floral, but always hoppy and bitter, in a good way. Overall, this is a nice, almost Imperial, sort of New England, definitely unfiltered, dry and slightly fruity old school IPA with a lot of bitterness and solid complexity. Good to sample and nice if you like drier Imperialish IPAs that just happen to be unfiltered. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in New York (Chelsea), New York on 21-December-2020 for US$4,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 19-January-2021.
