Super hazy golden coloured body with a deep orange glow and a thinnish, single centimetre tall off-white head, but a great bright haze throughout. Aroma of crisp grain, wheat, citrus, flowers and a good alcohol and biting spicey hop bitter aroma. Medium-bodied; Very rich dry malt flavours show at first with some nice hay, flowers and specialty grains with a soft and subdued hop bitterness that shows some dry grassy and floral nots, but also a lot of citrusey components and some good sweet nots. Aftertaste is crisp, dry, clean, nuanced, floral and incredibly balanced for the style with a very nice bitterness, but also great sweetness, dry maltiness and complex finish - great! Overall, a very nice New England IPA that hits all the right notes, remains super complex, yet easy-drinking...not a combination you have all the time and this one is recommended if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Whole Foods in Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia on 19-October-2020 for US$2,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 29-October-2020.
