Super clear golden coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall, soapy off-white head that leaves a pretty ugly lace on top. Aroma of very nice tropical fruits, with mangoes, guava, melons, kiwi, kumquats and even a small touch of tart passionfruit near the end of the nose, all with some malt noticeable as well. Medium-bodied; Very fruity flavours show initially with some light bitterness, but mainly a kiwi, tangerine-y and very mangoey bite, all complete with a good layer of malts, some subdued astringency from the alcohol and bitterness, but a crisp, yet flavourful, balanced beer that is slightly sweet, but deep and robust. Aftertaste shows a good amalgamation of the aforementioned notes, with fruits, malt and sweetness all tasting relatively strong, but adding to the complexity of a fairly easy-drinking, yet full-flavoured beer. Overall, a nice blend of hops, giving the robust, fruity bite, but some bitterness and depth still exists and doesn't show too many sugars, which works out well here. Nice to sample very fresh and a good almost Imperial-ish IPA locally, if you can find it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Manassas, Virginia on 27-November-2020 for US$4,99, which arrived into the store on 19-November-2020, sampled at my house here in Washington on 01-December-2020.
