0.33 l bottle shared at home. Clear golden, thin head. Fruity, white wine-like nose with some yeasty notes. The same wine like stuff appears in taste with slight bitterness. Not my average quad but quite alright.

opalescent oange colour with plenty of floating particles, practically no head at all; aroma and taste of apricot, linden honey, some pear, hints of clove and nutmeg; obviously not among the best quadrupels

Tap at Neked Csak Dezső, Budapest. Poured a hazy golden colour with a frothy white head. The aroma is dry toffee caramel malt, yeast and alcohol. The flavour is moderate to strong sweet with a rich, smooth, super sweet corn, dry floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Too sweet and too alcoholic. Bordering on one of those cheap malt liquors that we get in Malaysia. Impossible to drink in any kind of volume and I only drank a third of my 20cl glass.

Pours almost clear golden colour, topped with medium white head, not lasting. Slightly yeasty quality in the nose with some fruitiness. Sweet and malty start with slight yeastiness, not much aftertaste. A bit alcohol warmth, but still it’s nicely hidden.

Sample from the bottle at HBF 2017, Helsinki. Colour is cloudy golden with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Sweet fruits, tropical fruits and malts.

Kicsi, gyorsan eltűnő hab, borostyán szín, szűrt. Gyümölcsös, fehérboros, muskotályos illatvilág. Fehérboros, kissé édeskés, muskotályos ízekkel nyit, majd citrusos aromák csatlakoznak, aztán hosszú, fűszeres lecsengéssel fut ki. Utóízében egy kis alkoholosság is felbukkan. Testes, mégis könnyen csúszik, közepesen kesernyés, erősen szénsavas. Izgalmas ízvilágú, jól sikerült, jó egyensúllyal rendelkező sör.

0.33l bottle. Hazy orange body with almost no head. Aroma of banana, honey, cloves, nutmeg and pepper. It’s quite sweet and fruity with a noticable alcohol. Taste is quite similar to the aroma. It has notes of peach, banana, cloves and booze. Decent beer, but the alcohol character is a bit too obvious for me.
