Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown color with red highlights and a large creamy tan head that faded quickly but left incredible lacing. The aroma was malty and tangy with crisp fruity hops. The flavor was tangy and bitter with crisp but vague fruity hops, tobacco and an earthy undertone. Long finish. Alcohol well contained. Moderately full bodied. Ok.
