Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a very dark brown - almost black color with a medium sized creamy beige head that left decent lacing. The aroma was tangy and malty wood, molasses, cherry and rum. The flavor was wood and smoky with a bit of dark fruits and bread and a sour off undertone. The finish was long sour, cherry, rum, wood and was a bit off. Moderately full bodied and creamy. Ok.
