[September 2023] Dark brown with a frothy off-white head. Soft espresso and roasted malt on the nose, some sweet malt alongside coffee and dry bitterness, a little thin

Shared third of a pint at the 31st Shrewsbury Beer Festival in St Mary's Church on 28th September 2023. Red hue to the dark brown body, off-white wisp for a head. Malty for sure, dry yet semi-sweet with hedgerow fruits in the mixture of flavours.

Cask at the Pup and Duckling, Solihull. Poured a clear reddish brown with a thin broken white head. The aroma is roasted earthy malt, light strawberry cheesecake woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a smooth dry woody hop bitter palate and a long bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
