Very hazy, orange and straw coloured body with a thick, two to three centimetre tall, fairly funky tan and off-white head that still covers the beer nicely after a few moments. Aroma of orange juice, light tropical fruits, hay, grass, resin, mangoes and yes, some light guava. Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours show up first with a nice orange, grapefruit and especially papaya fruity note right up front with a light sour quality and some perfumey finishes as well, but the fruits and sweetness end nicely here. Aftertaste shows the fruits front and centre with a good dryness and slight resinous kick, but the guava and mangoes show at the end with a slight sweetness noticeable, but the malt covers nicely and provide a great balance as well with an enjoyable alpha acid bitterness at the end, as well. Overall, a very nice New England IPA with a lot of fruitiness and a slight soured quality, but the dryness and balance is almost perfect here - very nice throughout that shows the fruit nicely with some associated bitterness, but a great balance. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from White Whale Craft Ales in Savannah, Georgia on 31-December-2021, New Year's Eve for US$6,00, canned on 10-November-2021 and sampled at my house here in Washington on 05-February-2022.
