Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 7 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6.5
Pretty clear, but slightly hazy golden coloured body with a nice two to three centimetre tall off-white head that stays afloat nicely. Aroma of light chiles, a good deal of biscuity and grainy malts with some sugars in the nose, but this mainly smells of the malt and chiles with a dash of hops here as well. Light to Medium-bodied; Pretty significant chile flavour shows at first without any real heat, but a lot of the chile flavours, similar to that from hatch chiles, with a good hop bitterness from the fresh hops show as well and provide a nice complexity at the tail end. Aftertaste shows a lot of pungency from all sides - the chiles, to the malt and the strong hops are all here with a lot of pungency but enjoyable complexity at the end without any sugars of course, but some significant hops and good malt too. Overall, a nice IPA that doesn't really show any of the Imperial Status at all, but shows nicely with a good chile flavour and some pungent bitterness, but structured throughout. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Total Wine in Altamonte Springs, Florida on 01-January-2023 for US$4,99 sampled at my hotel room here in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania on 01-February-2023, a month later after purchase.

Purchased at Total Wine in Tampa, FL; enjoyed on a nice cool night while watching basketball and doing end of year things. Appearance is a lightly hazy gold with a light white head. Aroma is mostly malt with a little bit of chiles. Taste is mostly malt with a little bit of chiles. It's fine.
