Super hazy golden and peach coloured body with a very nice two centimetre tall tan head that fades pretty quickly above the 90 per cent opaque body. Aroma of sour fruity candy with a light dose of oranges and some grapefruits, but only a touch of actual alpha acid bitterness here with some decent malts right behind as well to support the hops. Aftertaste shows some rich bitterness towards the end that finally brings out the hops and alpha acids with a light dose of sugars with a lot of citrus flavours and some smooth wheatie malts throughout, but the nice layer of sweetness that seems to originate from the soured candy makes this more robust and complex throughout. Overall, a pretty nice beer with a great fresh hop profile that brings out the candy sweetness and the citrus aspects - very good to sample, especially very fresh and super local. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased yesterday from Freeman's Liqour Shop in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 11-January-2023 for US$4,95, canned on 20-October-2022 and sampled a day later here in my hotel room in [downtown] Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on 12-January-2023.
