Pretty hazy deep copper and amber coloured body with a thick, three centimetre tall light brown and deep tan head. Aroma of relatively strong wheat and oats with some grainy notes, a dash of bread with the yeast and slightly bitter hops noticeable in the nose. Medium-bodied; Strong oaty and wheatie flavour with some deeper bittering hops that show some grass and herbal notes with a light bit of perfume, but no sour or tart notes from hibiscus at all and only a dash of fruit notes without much sweetness at all. Aftertaste shows the yeast, bread and malt more than the hops without any real bitterness and no pungent hoppiness, just a dash of dryness towards the finish. Overall, a decent, but pretty malt-forward beer with some light bitterness from the hops, but no fruity notes, no real pungent hop qualities, just some dryness and a touch of malt and yeast towards the end and absolutely no hibiscus notes here. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Wegman's in Tyson's Corner (Vienna), Virginia on 23-December-2022 for US$2,33, as part of a mixed six pack, sampled in my hotel room here in Orlando, Florida with my wife and three kids on 28-December-2022.
