Ever so slightly hazy beautiful golden and subdued copper coloured body with a fairly thin, one to two centimetre tall off-white head that seems to last for a longtime on top. Aroma of crisp grass, hay, flowers and soft malts with a tiny bit of alpha acids and bitterness picked up, but relatively subdued in the nose. Medium-bodied; A nice creamy and rich, biscuity, slightly buttery malt profile surprises with a solid dryness and herbal quality from the hops that comes out soon afterwards and provides a nice balance, but strong profile with a tiny hit of citrus fruits and bitterness from the hops. Aftertaste is enjoyable with a good malt and hop balance, some soft sweetness from caster sugar and even honey, but a dry, floral hop bitterness that is ever-present and shows well, considering the style. Overall, a solid beer throughout that is nicely balanced, yet crisp and doesn't seem to have any 'backyard tiki vibes' or anything slightly tropical about it. That said, this was a classy beer, especially in terms of the malts, from a GREAT store in the heart of the city. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Heinen's Market in [downtown] Cleveland, Ohio (Euclid Avenue) on 30-July-2021 for US$4,09 and canned just a few days earlier on 14-June-2021, sampled at my house here in Washington on 20-November-2021.
