Very nice, pretty hazy golden and lightly copper tinted body with a thinnish, funky and large-bubbled off-white head that fades pretty quickly and leaves nothing on the sides. Aroma of very strong lemon, artificially so, with a lot of caster sugar and even icing sugar notes along with some moderate biscuity malt notes - strong in the nose, and mostly [fake] lemony. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong artificial lemon flavours dominate up front that make a path for some lighter biscuity and even grainy malts with some cleaner wheat notes further back, but the lemon and relatively strong sweetness punch through and leave this very refreshing. Aftertaste shows some enjoyable lemon and crisp malt notes that make this go down easily, sort of a like a lightly alcoholised, fizzy lemonade, as the style is intended for. Overall, a pretty nice Radler that is on the border to be a Shandy, and enjoyable aside from one thing - how artificial the lemons taste here - they are strong and refreshing (think Country Time Lemonade), but a bit too funky. Great to try, especially on one of the last hot days here in 2022 (hopefully). I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from the Department of Beer and Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 24-July-2020 for US$3,59 sampled at my house here in Washington on 06-November-2022.
