Ridiculously hazy, chunky, deep copper, brown and super bronze coloured body, all with a ~2 centimetre tall tan head atop the 95 per cent opaque crazy copper and muddied glow. Aroma of dry grass, light citrus fruit, cleanser, hay, flowers a nd a touch of resin. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal flavours show at first with a noticeable alpha acid bitterness with a grapefruit and blood orange citrus note and associated bitterness, with a little dose of bread and yeast towards the end! Aftertaste shows some hay and slight herbal elements with a very dry pungency and some complex flavours with a fresh hop profile and a good deal of alpha acid bitterness, but also good newer school fruitiness that combines well. Overall, a very nice, light, dry but still complex beer that is a nice blend of IPA styles (including the dryness of a Belgian IPA), but brewed in the fabulous state of Alaska! Great to have super fresh on the opposite side of the country - worth trying to find it if you think you might be able to grab it! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from La Bodega in Anchorage, Alaska on 05-October-2021 for US$3,05 sampled just eleven days later at my house here in Washington on 16-October-2021, my oldest daughter's 9th birthday - Happy Birthday Claire!!!
