Ridiculously hazy golden and straw coloured body with a beautiful raw honey glow and a deep, ninety per cent opaque body, all under a nice four to five centimetre tall creamy tan head. Aroma of honeysuckle, jasmine, grass, fruity candy, mangoes, papaya and even some pepper - quite strong and complex in the nose - very nice! Medium to Full-bodied; Very rich and meloney maltiness with a lot of syrupy and resinous notes and sweetness up front with a big tropical pungency along with a creamy almost vanilla-y lactose finish that brings out some bitterness from the hops, but they stay relatively insulated, due to the rich malts here. Aftertaste shows a sort of aspartame and fake sugar flavour, with a lot of lactose, vanilla, cream and some honey sweetness, but the hops bringing out tropically notes are very strong - especially at the end. Overall, a nice deep and pungent, milky, creamy IPA with a ton of hops and while a 'new school' IPA, it does have a modicum of bitterness, but this was nice to sample very fresh! I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Bread & Honey in New York (8th Ave @ 56th St), New York on 22-August-2021 for US$6,49 sampled at my house here in Washington on 03-September-2021.
