Super clear and pale, very light yellow (not golden) coloured body with no head at all of course, and no movement - this looks a bit odd, but at least it looks like apple juice! Aroma of very sweet and dry apples, a bunch of additional caster sugar and fructose notes and a kick of very subdued spices here, such as allspice and cloves, making it smell more like an autumn-based cider than a sherbet-one, at least with the eyes closed. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong sweetness at first with a bunch of caster sugar, fructose, dry apples, flowers, cake and additional sweet notes coming through such as bubblegum and icing sugar, but no real discerning sherbet notes at all, although I'm not sure what those would taste like. Aftertaste shows some flowers and hay with a bit of brine that seemingly adds some salty flavours and an additional bite here, but those could be the light spices that were picked up in the smell, but the sweetness here is pervasive and stronger than any minor or mellow apple notes that did exist as well. Overall, an interesting and very sweet cider that at least is easy-drinking, if not, starting to be cloying, but has a slight dryness and mellow spices, but no real sherbet notes, which is okay to me, but this is not one of the best ciders they've made. I sampled this sixteen ounce, pint-sized can, purchased from Trader Joe's in Skyline (Bailey's Crossroads), Falls Church, Virginia on 25-June-2022 for US$3,50 sampled in my hotel room here in Richmond, Virginia on 25-September-2022.
