Ridiculously hazy golden coloured body with a raw honey glow of pure haze that is fully opaque and a thinnish, very fast-dying pure white head. Aroma of super funky and interesting coffee, bourbon, tootsie rolls and chocolate - very interesting and not entirely nice, but at least it smells like something that is not apples. Super light-bodied; Tart apple flavour at first that shows the coffee and again, funky chocolate or tootsie roll flavour with a deep sweetness from brown sugars and a dose of caramel and a hint of citrus and tartness that arise from the lemons. Aftertaste shows the apples and funk some more with a lot more of the bourbon and complexities coming through near the end. Overall, a super interesting cider that I've never had anything similar and while it wasn't an overwhelmingly successful drink, one that piqued my interest and made me want to have others from this producer and of a similar style. I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Liqour Outlet in Boonton, New Jersey on 22-September-2018 for US$2,49 sampled at home in Washington on 14-May-2019.
