Super hazy and almost completely opaque (90%) pink and Ruby glowing body with a smooth and short single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of jam, raspberries, strawberries, peanuts, funk, bread, yeast and a bit more malt - quite strong with a lot of pungent notes throughout. Medium to Full-bodied; Strong berry and pungent grainy flavours with a big dose of peanuts, earthy, toasted malt with some bready and yeastie flavours that finish nicely with the cherry, but mostly strawberry, blackberry and blueberry sweetness and tartness that are evident throughout. Aftertaste is deep and fruity, with a lot of Malt right behind to balance and only a touch of funk and tart notes on the end that draw away from the fruit beer profile that you get with this. Overall, an enjoyable and very fruit-centric beer that shows jam and sweet fruit notes throughout that finishes with a tart and dry flavour, but the rest of this is all about the sweet fruit. I sampled this twelve ounce pour on draught for US$8,50 from the brewpub in [downtown] Napa, California on 11-March-2019 while visiting Napa Valley!

Draught in San Mateo as part of a sampler. Part of a large amount of ratings that I am trying to catch up on. Scores were recorded at the time, but descriptions were not.
