Crisp clear coloured body a thinnish pure white head, only a centimetre or so tall. Aroma of light malt, a touch of alcohol, some subdued coffee (very interesting, as it's the coffee skin more than anything) with a final bit of sweentess from some brown sugar noticeable at the end. Light-bodied; Noticeable coffee flavours at first with a softer peat and toasted malt flavour that shows through everything and only leaves a mellow taste of astringency on the finish with a hint of bitterness from the coffee. Aftertaste shows the coffee balanced with the malt and finished with some grainy bitterness and a hint of light caster sugar with very little else. Overall, not a bad beer - actually quite interesting and still very light, although this shows more of an ale than a lager, but still refreshing and showing the coffee, too! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Hy-Vee Grocery Store in Omaha (Papillion), Nebraska on 06-November-2018 for US$1,99 sampled at my house here in Washington on 26-January-2019.
