Super hazy golden coloured body with a rather thick, three centimetre tall pure white head that fades quickly to just a light layer on top. Aroma of light grass, hay, wheat, yeast, bananas, a touch of tropical fruits and a dose of salt. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong wheatie and coriander seed flavour with some yeast, anise, cardamom and noticeable salt elements throughout with a hint of tropical fruits and a dose of grain and quite pungent banana and yeast flavours meld with the sweetness near the end which make this robust, but still easy-to-drink, which is a nice combination here in the heat of the South. Aftertaste shows more salt than anything else with some bananas and larger yeast flavours that make the profile a bit simplistic, but the tropical fruit notes and light saltiness are still noticeable throughout and the alcohol is fairly subdued, given that it is so high, especially for the style. Overall, a good enough shandy, given that I typically don't like these 'beers', but the flavour profile almost puts this at a Gose, and the ability for this to be a thirst quencher here in the South is a good thing! I sampled this twelve ounce can purchased from Mac's Beer and Wine in [Midtown] Atlanta, Georgia on 26-May-2018 for US$1,71 sampled in my hotel room here in [Downtown] Atlanta, Georgia a day later on 27-May-2018.
