Quite hazy golden and copper coloured body with a nice, albeit relatively fast-dying three centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of pure lavender, honey, grain, light alcohol, quite a bit of yeast and breads with a touch of vanilla and floral hops, but this really is about the sweetness and the flowers/lavender here. Medium-bodied; Biting floral elements at first with a big dose of sweetness from honey and caster sugar along with a light herbal character and finishing with a touch of the alcohol. Aftertaste shows some dry flowers, a lot of malt and grain and a nice and robust sweetness which seems to last for quite a long time, especially at the end. Overall, a nice and respectable beer offering that seems to really showcase the honey and sugars, but also leave a nice floral and lightly spiced complexity over the course of the whole beer - this one shows like a saison with extra lavender and a ton more honey. Very nice to sample and well worth trying to find if you can grab it still? I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Siciliano's in Grand Rapids, Michigan on 13-June-2017 for US$2,39 by my dad - Thanks Dad for bringing this back home, sampled at home in Washington after seeing the Cherry Blossoms on 05-April-2018.

On tap at the Brewpub. Poured a cloudy pale gold with a thick white head the dissipated quickly. Aroma was a nice combination of light fruits, honey and lavender. Flavor was sweet honey through out with a light floral undertone towards the finish.
