An India Pale Ale brewed with a generous amount of rye malt, this beer pours a deep orange, ruby red color reminiscent of the world famous Haleakala Crater sunrises it was inspired by. Medium bodied with a strong spicy, herbal character from both the use of rye malt and Chinook and Zythos hops. Rounded out with a touch of caramel sweetness and a pleasant bitter finish.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Aroma is robust, with resinous hops, rye, and bready caramel malt. Flavour is well-balanced, with resinous hops, spicy rye, and dry bready malt. Really well-balanced, with a nice resinous and spicy hop finish. Very good.
