malt from Heidelberg and noble hops from the
Hallertau area of Bavaria. Fermented with German
lager yeast, Fish Camp Pils is an easy drinking,
light-bodied beer that has just the right amount of hop
bitterness to make this an extremely balanced brew.
Not to be confused with its lighter American cousins,
German Pilsners are full-flavored and very refreshing.

Can from total wine st pete. Pour is slight haze on pale. Nose is clean fresh pils. Oh, first taste impression is strong near phenol bitter sharp bite. Big surprise. Lots of big pointed pils bitterness fer sher, whew. Heavy duty, baby. I find this somewhat rude character in many domestic attempts at a pils. Yes, a little difficult to enjoy. It certainly is the overriding factor of this beer. Even the carbonation has no effect on civilizing this session. The real old country pilsners are much more well behaved than this. Quite an impact on my senses. OK for a tick, but will not buy again. Description says 'easy drinken'.... I'm not so sure. I thought their scout dog and raging blonde were a much better brew than this.

12 oz. can from Total Wine. Pours a slightly hazy light yellow color with a white head and good retention. A few spots of lacing. Very light pilsner malt aroma. Sharp pilsner malt flavor with light bitterness and a slightly soapy finish. Very crisp mouthfeel. Medium-light body. Decent enough.
