16 oz. can from the brewer. Thanks Ashley! Pours a clear very dark mahogany color with an off white head and poor retention. Zero lacing. Malty aroma. Dark malty flavor with a little caramel, but none of the roasted malt notes I expect in a Schwarzbier. Sweet, no bitterness, in spite of the 31 IBUs. Nearly flat mouthfeel. Medium-light body. A good malty lager, but a poor Schwarzbier.
