Can at Penny Blue, Melbourne. Poured a crystal clear light amber with a thin broken white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is malt, big grassy nettle buttery hop. The flavour is moderate sweet light bitter with a fresh, fruity, smooth, light spice hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

[1/17] Can. Hazy gold with a modest white head. Aroma of papaya, mandarin, passionfruit, crackers - it’s very fruity but you need to lean in close for it. Taste is fruity with enough light bready malt underneath fruity hops. Clean and dryish with moderate bitterness than closes affairs rather than has much presence of itself. Not sure what it offers that it needs to be 6.5%. Pleasant but a bit forgettable. [3.4] This time the aroma is a little less shy and there's a little resinous kick at the end. A nice pale ale but I still wonder about its strength.
