Van Henson Pilsner 5.5% Straw gold with a big soap-bubble like head of foam that vanished incredibly fast. Grainy with herbal bitter hops. Medium to full bodied with a crisp finish and prickly carbonation. Green herbal bitterness and sweet light malts make for a refreshing and true to style German pils. Solid stuff.

Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear yellow gold with a white head that lasts throughout the beer and laces. Aroma has grass and slightly earthy hay with a bit of grain underlying. Flavor has a combination of grass and hay with straw and light grain backing.

Gold body with lasting white head. Grassy aroma. Well balanced taste with a crisp hop finish
