A dark, sweet, medium-bodied, slightly roasty ale that can suggest coffee-and-cream, or sweetened espresso from the lactose and oats used. Named after one of Melbourne's early names!

Widgetless nitro can @ 4.5%. Very dark brown/red with a good cm of very nitro light tan head. Aroma of light roast, coffee, caramel, grass. Light bodied, smooth. Just roasty and bitter enough to counter the coffee sweetened with condensed milk thing. Refreshing.

Tap at the Stomping Ground beer hall, Melbourne. Poured a clear dark brown with a long-lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is sweet roasty malt, toffee fudge, lactose. The flavour is moderate sweet with a dry, earthy, light watery, slightly metallic, coffee chocolate palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
