Can. Brown with a pale beige head. Aroma of bread, hazelnuts, some chocolate and chicory. Thinnish. Quite sweet but with fairly prominent bitterness that distracts from the malt a bit. No particular yeast character. But pleasant enough.

Tap at the Stomping Ground beer hall, Melbourne. Poured a murky medium to dark brown with a long lasting frothy white head and some clingy lace. The aroma is sweet caramel malt, roasty, nutty, light floral hop. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth rich sweet malt, woody, light metallic, roasty, caramel hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A good, but rather sweet, example of the style.
