This was a totally random finding at Aeon Supermarket in Omihachiman. 390¥+tx Ise Kadoya Session IPA No. 2 Nelson Sauvin 4.5% Deep gold with rocky off-white foam that leaves copious lacing behind and has an old school west Coast type ipa aroma of bright citrus and malt. Light bodied but with a fairly full mouthfeel. You get that bright citrus and an underlying vinous Nelson Sauvin grape. There is also loads of bitter pine and malty sweet caramel which really reminds me of (possibly heat damaged) imported IPAs from like 10 years ago. OK.
