Finally getting around to two things: taking down my tree and trying a beer from Black Tide Brewing! Black Tide Brewing Bell Ringer Fruit Hazy IPA 7.5% Apparently made with strawberries, oats and lactose. On cracking the can I was immediately assaulted with tons of juicy hops, in the glass I had classic pale gold haze impossible to see through. The strawberry comes through once you examine the aroma more closely. The taste gives a bit of strawberry at the front and more in the finish. The middle is pithy juicy haze. Quite a nice brew but I would’ve liked it sweeter. Impressive first beer from them, shame I didn’t get it until after Christmas...
